RÍO REVENTAZÓN
At 152 kilometers long, the Reventazón features stretches perfect for rafting, fishing or canoeing. The thick greenery on the river’s banks adds to the enjoyment of a trip down its waters. The mid zone of this river is the Cachí Hydroelectric Plant’s largest water supply source.

RÍO SAVEGRE, SAN GERARDO DE DOTA
In this river’s cold waters, just a few kilometers from its source, visitors can fish for rainbow trout, or simply take refuge on its banks to relax or capture the river’s beauty on film or video. The Savegre features lovely scenic areas, as well as bird watching—especially quetzal

 


BEACHES

PLAYA JACO
On the Pacific Coast, the closest beach to Naranjo, Playa Jaco, is 2.5 miles long offering surfing, paddle boarding and just relaxing. The nearby streets of Jaco feature a variety of restaurants, surf & paddleboard rental shops, and souvenir & gift shops. Stop on the way at the bridge to see the enormous crocodiles!

PLAYA HERMOSA
Also on the Pacific Coast and 6 miles south of Jaco, Playa Hermosa offers 6 miles of black beach with more tranquility. Great surfing and turtle viewing.
